Build Change mission is to greatly reduce deaths, injuries, and economic losses caused by housing and school collapses due to earthquakes, extreme weather and fires.

Build Change is dedicated to overcoming the major barriers to resilient housing, categorized into People, Money, and Technology. Recognizing the high level of interdependence between these areas, Build Change adopts a holistic approach to design policies, programs, and products that address gaps and challenges across all three dimensions.

They support governments in identifying policy changes that can home improvements with risk reduction at scale, and to develop incentives for homeowners and the private sector to invest in resilient housing. By addressing the interconnected barriers of People, Money, and Technology simultaneously, Build Change is transforming housing systems for the long term.
