Practical Action for Adressing Loss and Damage

The long form report, Practical Action for Addressing Loss and Damage, aims to provide an analysis of loss and damage outcomes from the 2023 Climate Change Conference in Sharm el Sheikh (COP27). It provides an in-depth analysis of the key issues around loss and damage. The report also features 25 case studies of practical action to mobilise finance and deliver interventions to address loss and damage.

This report follows the conference Addressing Loss and Damage: Practical Action hosted by the Scottish Government on 11 and 12 October 2022 in collaboration with the UN High-Level Champions and the Global Resilience Partnership. The report has been produced by the Scottish Government in collaboration with International Institute for Environment and Development.
