Webinar: Resilient Agriculture Innovations for Nature (RAIN) challenge for non-profits

Join us on 8 June 2023 for a webinar about the RAIN challenge for non-profits.

Webinar recording

Together with Munich Re Foundation, we have launched the Resilient Agriculture Innovations for Nature (RAIN) Challenge for non-profit organisations. We are looking for innovative and scalable nature positive solutions that drive investment in ecosystems and increase resilience while resulting in a stronger and better context for nature positive agriculture to flourish. The initiatives must build resilience for those most vulnerable to shocks and stresses, and include a focus on gender, equity and human rights, and protect biodiversity.

RAIN for non-profits is open to not-for-profit organisations across public, local civil society, international NGOs and academia in East Africa (Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda).

This webinar will answer any questions potential applicants might have and provide an in-depth look at what nature-positive agriculture is, and why it is critical to transforming agricultural systems.

Speakers

Gerald David, Challenge Fund Manager, Global Resilience Partnership
Jesper Hörnberg, Head of Innovation and Scaling, Global Resilience Partnership
