Evandro is an Urban Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in more than 30 countries, focused on bringing policy into action and action into policy in the fields of sustainable urban development, housing and slum upgrading. Working with UN-Habitat since 2015, he has coordinated the elaboration and implementation of housing and urban policies in more than 10 countries, currently serving as the focal point for housing and slum upgrading for West Africa. Evandro has co-led initiatives on digital tools on disaster risk management and artificial intelligence applied to urban planning, implemented in more than five countries.
