Patrick McSharry is a Research Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, author, and strategic advisor. He was a Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellow at Oxford University, held two EU Marie Curie Fellowships (UK and Spain) and is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and a Senior Member of the IEEE. He advises organizations including the World Bank, the UN, the OECD, and foundations such as Mastercard, Google, Rockefeller, and the GSMA Foundation. His work focuses on AI and quantitative techniques for automating decision-making and managing risk. He is currently building partnerships to create data-driven, sustainable solutions to global challenges.
