MPGCA iLAB RPI: The Resilient Planet Initiative 

At COP29, experts will explore equitable climate data access and innovative financing to support adaptation, aiming to enhance resilience for most-impacted communities worldwide.

The Resilient Planet Initiative (RPI) is a flagship project under the Sharm El Sheikh Adaptation Agenda (SAA) with the support of Google.org. The RPI is being developed by the Global Resilience Partnership (GRP), the Society for the Promotion of Area Resource Centers (SPARC), Slum Dwellers International (SDI), the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), Ona Systems, the Centre for Climate Resilience Research (CR2), University of Chile, and the Environmental Change Institute, University of Oxford with the Insurance Development Forum, the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) and other partners of the Race to Resilience.

This session will explore equitable climate data access and innovative financing to support adaptation, aiming to enhance resilience for most-impacted communities worldwide, it will also include an implementation lab.
