Danish Refugee Council (DRC)

DRC works to protect displaced people, advocates for their rights, and enables sustainable futures.

Founded in 1956, the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) has worked for 70 years to support displaced people in their pursuit of a dignified life. As Denmark’s largest humanitarian NGO and a leading international organisation, DRC works in nearly 30 countries with a dedicated team of around 6,000 employees and thousands of volunteers. In a world of growing displacement and complex crises, DRC’s mission is more relevant than ever: to protect, advocate for, and enable sustainable futures for those forced to flee.
