TECH4Resilience

GRP, in collaboration with the Gates Foundation and Trafigura Foundation, launched the Technology for Evolving Challenges in Humanitarian Contexts (TECH) 4 Resilience Challenge to surface innovations that apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance humanitarian preparedness and response. The challenge invited solutions that either address and reduce the impacts of extreme climate events in emergency settings or strengthen and improve Anticipatory Action (AA) frameworks to better manage crises before they escalate. TECH provides customised support to maximise each initiative’s impact, align initiatives with potential funders, and increase visibility. TECH winners were announced during COP30, and project implementation is underway.
