Road to Action

As part of the Road to Action, we are developing a learning module based on the Resilience Science Must-Knows report. You can find a series of short videos recorded by the authors of the Resilience Science Must‑Knows. In each video, one author unpacks a core insight from resilience science and connects it directly to infrastructure systems, illustrating how resilience concepts can inform planning, design, and decision‑making across sectors.

The videos are part of an open‑access Learning Module on Resilient Infrastructure, developed by the Global Resilience Partnership in collaboration with Bentley Systems. Designed for self‑paced learning, the module translates resilience science into practical relevance for infrastructure, addressing issues such as interdependence, cascading risk, uncertainty, and long‑term system change across transport, cities, water, energy, mining, and digital infrastructure sectors.

The primary target audience includes university students, post‑graduates, and early‑career infrastructure professionals, while the module is also intended to be relevant for practitioners, partners, and internal learning contexts. The content progresses from foundational resilience concepts to more sector‑specific applications, grounding theory in real‑world examples and case studies.

The Learning Module will be launched during London Climate Action Week and will be available open‑access through Bentley Systems’ learning platform.
