Community-based Adaptation Conference 16 (CBA16)

The 16th International Conference on Community-based Adaptation to Climate Change

This year, CBA16 will take place on 3 – 4 October 2022. In the lead-up to this two-day digital conference in October, IIED also held an online event as part of London Climate Action Week from 29 June – 3 July 2022.

This year CBA16 will focus on the Principles for Locally Led Adaptation. CBA’s dialogue-based sessions will explore what the principles mean for practitioners, how we can bring them to life at the local level, and how we continue to build momentum towards COP27.

CBA is funded and organised by the Climate Justice Resilience FundIrish Aid, the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), the Global Resilience PartnershipCAREPractical Action and the Green Africa Youth Organisation.
