Middle East and North Africa Climate Week

The first-ever Middle East and North Africa Regional Climate Week will accelerate collaboration and integrate climate action into global pandemic recovery. Building forward opens an opportunity to address social inequalities and invest in economic development that is good for humanity and nature.

MENA Climate Week 2022 provides a platform for governments, cities, private sector leaders, financial institutions and civil society to discuss opportunities to build forward from the pandemic by identifying opportunities to enhance climate action. The event will bring together key stakeholders to take the pulse of climate action in the region, explore climate challenges and opportunities and showcase ambitious solutions.

MENACW 2022 will be held from 28/31 March hosted by the Government of the United Arab Emirates.

Submissions of interest are open NOW for all stakeholders interested in joining the MENA Climate Week 2022. Join MENA Climate Week 2022 as a Supporting Organization for one of the thematic tracks, by hosting a Side Event or by engaging at the Action Hub. Visit the MENACW 2022 EOI page to learn more about our engagement opportunities, the thematic tracks and how to submit your Expression of Interest before the application deadline.

Venue details for the in-person event will be announced as soon as possible, along with information on travel logistics and virtual participation. MENACW 2022 remains on track to build on COP26 outcomes and explore resilience against climate risks, the transition to a low-emission economy and collaboration to solve pressing challenges.
