We are delighted to announce the 15 finalists of the TECH4Resilience Challenge. Following a highly competitive process, with over 300 applications from around the world, the selected finalists showcase the most innovative use of technology and AI for climate resilience.

Communities at the front line of climate and humanitarian crises face overlapping shocks, including extreme weather, conflict, health, and food system disruptions. Advances in technology and AI offer practical ways to anticipate risk, take earlier action, and deliver faster, more targeted responses.

The challenge, launched in collaboration with the Gates Foundation and the Trafigura Foundation, set out to identify and support pioneering solutions that harness digital innovation, data, and emerging technologies to address urgent resilience needs. Following a thorough review process, a panel evaluated applications based on impact, feasibility, scalability, responsible AI, and inclusion

Selected finalists will receive a customised programme focused on leadership, mentoring, communications, visibility, and investor-readiness. The winners will be announced at COP30 at the Resilience Hub and will receive up to USD 50,000 in funding to help develop and scale their solutions, along with additional support for monitoring, learning, and sustained delivery.
