Southeast Asia Regional Resilience Dialogue

Transformational Solutions to Scale Up Adaptation and Resilience. This dialogue is part of a series of regional dialogues convened with non-party stakeholders, organized by the Global Resilience Partnership together with Climate Resilience Network of the UNFCCC Marrakech Partnership for Global Climate Action (MPGCA) with the support of the Chile and UK High Level Champions (HLCs), Gonzalo Muñoz and Nigel Topping.

Lessons from Adaptation Leaders

A Grassroots-Donor Dialogue on Locally Led Action. This regional virtual dialogue between grassroots’ organisations, development partners, and donor representatives reflected on successes and lessons learned in furthering locally led climate adaptation action in Africa. Grassroots organisations, networks and federations are invited to help lead future regional dialogues aimed at identifying present gaps to advance locally level action and help get money to where it matters.

D&C Days 2019: Five Pathways to a Climate-Resilient Future

Almost 250 participants from the grassroots to policymakers discussed and debated our five themes through a respectful and lively dialogue, and together arrived at key messages that we will share at targeted events during the second week of COP25 and at key international milestones during 2020 on the road to COP26.

Accelerating action to build a resilient 1.5 degree world, MPGCA Resilience Roundtable at UNFCCC COP25

During the Roundtable, focused interventions from 21 speakers grounded the discussion amid different context and scales, and all stressed the need to bring action on resilience and adaptation on par with current investment in mitigation. Over 100 participants shared 238 insights on successful climate actions to accelerate transformational changes and to address barriers to implementing much needed changes.
